At Our Lady of the Rosary, our facilities are designed to support engaging learning and student wellbeing. Located on Sydney’s Upper North Shore, our school provides large learning environments where students are supported to grow academically, socially and spiritually.
Classrooms
Our fourteen well-resourced classrooms are equipped with interactive screens, access to laptops and iPads, and practical wet areas to support a range of learning experiences. Each classroom connects to our central library and mezzanine, creating a collaborative learning hub at the heart of the school.
Specialist spaces include dedicated Music and Creative Arts rooms, along with additional small group learning areas supporting our EAL and Learning Support programs. Our facilities also include a welcoming administration area, staffroom and counselling spaces, ensuring a strong focus on student care and wellbeing.
Outdoor Spaces: Play Areas & School Oval
Our expansive outdoor spaces are a standout feature. Our oval provides space for school sport, athletics and active play, while our two outdoor basketball courts and indoor courts offer further opportunities for physical activity and skill development.
Our Infants playground has been recently enhanced to encourage imaginative play, exploration and social connection, while our junior and senior playgrounds include a variety of play equipment, shaded areas and spaces for both active and quiet play.
The Light of Christ Centre (TLOCC or LOCC)
The Light of Christ Centre is a spacious school hall and a central hub for our community. Used for assemblies, liturgies, performances, discos and special events, this versatile space also includes mini and full-size indoor basketball courts for sport and physical education. With a stage and professional lighting, it supports whole-school gatherings and performances throughout the year.
Library
Our library is a vibrant and welcoming space, centrally located and easily accessible from all classrooms. Students participate in weekly library lessons and regularly visit to borrow books, read, research and develop a love of learning.
