Positive Behaviour for Learning

Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Primary School implements proactive strategies for defining, teaching, and supporting appropriate student behaviours through our ‘Positive Behaviour for Learning’ Program (PBL).

Positive Behaviour for Learning [PBL], which is a whole school approach with a strong emphasis on teaching appropriate behaviours and providing systems of support to reinforce positive behaviours. The aim of Positive Behaviour for Learning is to actively teach and reinforce desired behaviours.

Our school rules of Respect Self and Others, Respect Learning and Respect the Environment are underpinned by Gospel Values which resonate the behavioural expectations and appropriate student behaviours that contribute to the functioning of our school as a safe and supportive learning environment. Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Primary School rules and behavioural expectations, outline appropriate student behaviours that contribute to the functioning of our school as a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment. Students at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Primary School are taught, encouraged and supported to demonstrate these expected behaviours.

At OLOR we contribute to a positive learning environment at our school when we…
